For the money this 10" drill is a very good deal. Only drawback is the work table is not ridged and bends/flexes when drilling through mild steel; pinpoint accuracy is impossible.
To help the problem I removed the table, turned it upside down and welded a 3/8" rod from the low point beneath the table's mounting hole to a point directly beneath the front of the table. Do not weld rod to the band that surrounds the table, weld between band and table. The brace stiffens up the table; use welding rods suitable for cast iron.

I do woodworking and I did not want to spend a lot of money on my 1st drill press. The table lift system is very simple and not very smooth, but usable. I had a contact problem with one of the lasers that I finally fixed and now the drill works fine. Changing the drill speed is not that simple (manually have to move the belt on the top of the machine), so I assume that on more expensive systems this is easier. I got what I paid for...Overall the drill works fine for me, now I am building the fence table for it.

once i got everything adjusted, per the directions, the drill press bit hit the mark 100% of the time...mine came mostly pre-assembled, making setup quite easy, although the directions were plain and simple to use, for the novice user...

would highly recommend for those week-end projects !

I have purchased several items from CPO and have love them all. I was shocked to see that CPO offers a Senco finishing nailer. I had one and it was broke more that it worked and senco will not stand behind it. I urge CPO to only offer the better products.
