Awesome Customer Service
Have had a millshop for 25+ years, everyone that works here and most carpenters I know use Bosch jig saws, they are the industry standard in Houston.

Bought two for my carpenters because of the great sale price. One broke immediately,(orange plastic collar) and the Customer Service could not have been better. CPO is our outlet for almost every power tool we buy, and we buy a lot.

Great Tool for the Price!
Several weeks ago, I bought my first ever Bosch product. I was looking for a combination of good quality and a fair price. I found it in this 6-Amp Keyless T-Shank Variable Speed Corded Jigsaw at Lowes. It does everything well and is very easy to change blades. Anyone who can't figure it out probably shouldn't be using power tools. Bill

Great Product
Easy to use for prople who is familiar to power tools.Great to manipulate in running the blade in which you want to cut. It is realiable tool and powerful enough to tackle 2" wood. Easy to replace the blade, if you are familiar of what type of blade to use depending of what material you are about to cut.
No problem with this tool as it's made by a known brand name and it's reputation.

Not up to quality of other Bosch saws
The blade changing mechanism on this saw was very poor. It was very difficult to use and involves reaching in to the base of the blade holder where it is very difficult to reach. And on one of the two saws I purchased, the holder was already broken and I could see that the other could break easily also - very poor design. I have been an avid user of Bosch jig saws (the best, and they set the standard for other brands)and own several - both the older models with the blade change lock on top (which was OK but a bit awkward) and the newer ones with the lever that "spits out" the blade - very nice. This model may be an intermeditate attempt by Bosch, but the blade changing and gripping mechanism is very poor and not worthy of Bosch.

Excellent saw , and easy to use tool-less blade change feature
I purchased this tool after burning out 3 competitors jigsaws in as many years. After using it almost daily for more than 20 years as a flooring contractor, I can say it is worth every penny I paid and more.
The tool-less blade change is has worked flawlessly.
This saw works as well today as it did when I bought it, which is impressive since I've dropped it onto concrete from off my table saw
dozens of times.
It doesn't look pretty anymore, but there is no need to replace it.
When it does die, another Bosch will replace it

I've been using this style of Bosch jigsaw for 30 years, I've had many of them, I currently have both a corded, and cordless model.....I won't use anything else

to throw every bit of saw dust from the cut line into the eyes of the left handed carpenter. The saw itself is good. The blade change is an improvement. My last Bosch "d" handle jigsaw lasted me a decade of daily use, and worked well enough to inspire brand loyalty. I wish that as a lefty I was able to use this one.
P.S. this is the first review I've ever written.
